That is why Tadano cranes make use of their maximum efficiency to take full advantage of fuel, enabling you to maximize the cost-effectiveness of your operations. This is in part thanks to two intelligent control systems that significantly reduce your Tadano crane\u2019s fuel consumption and, as a result, its CO<sub>2<\/sub> emissions as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Saving with eco mode<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In eco mode, the crane\u2019s engine always outputs the exact amount of power that the crane actually needs for lifting at any one time. More specifically, the control software controls the required engine speed and keeps it within the ideal range fully automatically without the crane operator having to depress the accelerator pedal. This can be used to reduce both fuel consumption and emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On top of that, the Tadano start-stop function provides a crucial advantage in comparison to conventional engine shutdowns: It leaves the crane control system active while the engine is off, meaning that the software does not have to go through time-consuming booting when restarting. The result? Crane operation can be resumed immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The start-stop function also reduces the crane\u2019s operating hours, extending the time between service intervals as a result. Moreover, this reduction in operating hours increases your machine\u2019s resale value.
