The Superlift Split Tray, which features quick couplings for connecting to the standard tray, is used when setting up the boom on Tadano CC 38.650-1 and CC 68.1250-1 lattice boom crawler cranes.
And if the long boom has been set up with a good amount of Superlift counterweight, the Split Tray can be decoupled quickly and easily with the counterweight required for the lift thanks to convenient coupling technology.
After this, the crane can simply move with the Superlift counterweight that is actually needed, saving assembly time, reducing the amount of personnel needed, and eliminating the need for an expensive assist crane. In addition, this reduces the counterweight tailswing radius when working at construction sites.
As a more concrete example, using the Split Tray option can yield savings of up to 10,000 euros per assignment for the CC 38.650-1.
Make your work more cost-effective: Flex Frame reduces setup and disassembly times
The Flex Frame option is used with very long boom lengths with the Boom Booster and makes it possible to take full advantage of the maximum Superlift radii when erecting the boom. The large and continuously variable adjustment radius means that the Flex Frame can be set to the ideal Superlift counterweight radius after the boom has been erected, resulting in shorter setup times and, accordingly, lower costs in comparison to other conventional systems.

In short, the Superlift “Split Tray” makes it possible to quickly change the Superlift counterweight at the work site, while the “Flex Frame” makes it easier to set up extremely long boom systems and maximizes flexibility during operation.
